I am receiving the message "Error Your search statement contains a general syntax error. Please re-enter your search using the correct syntax."

Error: 520101 Server: FWEB11 – 27140

Solution: A preference setting was changed from searching Full Article. Below are the steps to correct:

1. Log in to Factiva as an administrator
2. Click Settings/Tools/Support link
3. Click Settings and then Preferences
4. Click Search/Alerts Tab
5. Look at the Search for free-text terms section and verify it is set to Full Article
