However, these products are no longer available for new subscriptions. In addition, the ‘Database’ moniker in the product names has been replaced with ‘Collection’ (ex. Agricultural & Environmental Science Collection).

For those libraries who subscribe to ProQuest Central and the SciTech Premium Collection, there’s no impact to you. Your library will have access to the same content as before, except that it will be structured so your end users can more easily access full text by discipline.
If your library subscribes to any of the other collection level products or databases and ProQuest Central, you’ll benefit from the additional science focused full-text content recently added to ProQuest Central.

Question: Do these changes impact linking or discovery?
Answer: We are working to minimize all disruption. ProQuest is managing updates with linking partners and other third parties, providing new MARC records and database descriptions, and managing redirects for links. As a result, you will see new ProQuest databases appearing in your knowledgebase that might be similar to the product you have at the moment. You do not need to change anything unless we contact you about changes to your account setting.
Question: Will I able to renew my existing subscription?
Answer: Yes, you will be able to renew your existing subscription, customers will not be asked to upgrade their subscriptions or lose content because of these changes. The biggest change you’ll see is additional discipline specific layers underneath your existing products.
Question: Why have you made these changes to Science & Technology portfolio?
Answer: These changes make it much easier to map ProQuest resources back to faculty, teaching, curriculum and research interests. Your researchers will benefit from streamlined access to focused discipline-specific content sets.
