Due to browsers having removed the support for the FTP protocol, any attempts to go to a "ftp://" link would result in the link not working or prompting for an external application to open the link. This issue impacted the FTP links generated via the Admin Portal of ProQuest.
If you have a ftp link for your Marc Records and you are seeing an issue when trying to access those links via your browsers, we recommend using an external application such as an FTP client. FileZilla or WinScp will accept the links as presented in the Admin Portal of ProQuest
. Windows users can also use the Windows Explorer feature.
